It is French Guyana for sure. The definition of a colony is-- a region politically controlled by a distant country; a dependency. French Guyana is the only country in South America that is still controlled by a distant country. The other country know as just Guyana was a British colony and was known as British Guyana until it gained its independence in 1966.

The Falkland Islands, I guess could be consider to be in South America. Agentina tried to claim them as their own and fought a war with the UK over it.
